Big Bang Theory And Bhagvad Gita

Well, from a scientific perspective we know that universe started with a big bang, and it will end.Though how will it end is still a matter of discussion and scientific research; science states that it started from a source and will end and universe is expanding.

Now, have a look at this verses from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita:

  1. Chapter 11, Verse 13

At that time Arjuna could see in the universal form of the Lord the unlimited expansions of the universe situated in one place although divided into many, many thousands.

2. Chapter 8 verse 18

At the advent of Brahma’s day, all living beings emanate from the unmanifest source. And at the fall of his night, all embodied beings again merge into their unmanifest source.

3. Chapter 13, verse 34

O son of Bharata, as the sun alone illuminates all this universe, so does the living entity, one within the body, illuminate the entire body by consciousness.

Well, believing in Krishna is a matter everybody's thinking and intelligence. And I believe, if you are atheist you are not wrong or causing any offence to a true Hinduism follower.

But, these verses sure tell that at that time, they knew universe is expanding, everything is created from a single source, and a sun light travels larger distance, and that's why we can see stars.

And I think these are the scientific facts explained in Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.
